Ref Off Ref - You must be at a very loose until Padbury United v Aston Clinton later on, isn't the missus dragging you shopping to Milton Keynes before the game

Can the Police in Buckingham handle two big football matches in the town on the same afternoon

Padbury Utd 1 v 1 Aston Clinton

Clinton scored 53 seconds in then went Italian, tried literally to sit on the lead.

But on 86 minutes Padbury were rewarded for their hard work and persistence.

Not a classic, but then when a team shuts up shop as early as the first minute that's what you get, think the result will hurt Clinton more than Padbury.

Ref off ref spot on with the report not often a team scores 4 mins before 3 :00 kick off as the game kicked off at 14 56 the game was bit like when Padbury played at Tring All Padbury but stll only getting a point when Padbury deserved all 3 on the mount of chancs Padbury had

Premier Division

3 1 Aylesbury United v Biggleswade United

A brief report, if you can call it that, on this one from another's Forum:

SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE PREMIER

Aylesbury United 3-1 Biggleswade United

A tip for anyone who fancies an Aylesbury United game - don't wear green. I did and was asked if I was an Aylesbury fan - by none other than the woman in the snack bar who's served me at numerous Leighton Town games.

Secondly, I don't know what a duck's eyesight is like, but during added time at the end, I was surrounded on all sides by Aylesbury fans. When they realised it was an ****** hoodie (avoid advertising) and not a replica shirt, they moved off

Difference is at least Tring made a game of it.

Okay so Clinton nearly got away with it yesterday but on the otherhand we should've scored in injury time to seal the game, I just thought a team in 3rd place would have come and tried to match us, go for it too, in the end it was a tactic that spoilt what should have been game of the day

Also not helped by a very poor ref i think his name was A Hole from the moment he arrived he didn't get there until gone 2 if the club arrive late they get fined but not the refs i belive Mr A Hole arrived late at Mursley last week when he was only a linesman will he try and get Mursley a fine just like he his with Padbury as it was Padbury's Fault he got Bucks Ground late wot a A Hole From High Wycombe

Premier Division

3 1 Broxbourne Borough v Kingsbury London Tigers

This game is covered on the Non League Today Website today amongst other Broxbourne Borough related business:

http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/index.php?&newsmode=FULL&nid=70725

Tom Mundt, the recently-appointed manager of Molten Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division club Broxbourne Borough, confirmed to nonleaguedaily that prior to the hosting of Kingsbury London Tigers on Saturday, he made three significant new signings.

Mundt brought in much-travelled striker Rikki Burbridge, formerly with the likes of Braintree Town, Billericay Town and AFC Hornchuch, midfielder or defender Michael Sharman (above), the ex-Chesham United, Harlow Town, Ware and Cheshunt player, and Dan Flint, who has signed from Herts Senior County League neighbours Cuffley.

Burbridge (right) made a big impression during the first 45 minutes with his height and all-round presence a big boost to the home cause.

Flint was on the bench, whilst the Sharman`s debut is eagerly awaited and could come in Tuesday`s visit to Harpenden Town in the SSML Challenge Trophy second round tie.

Mundt said that it was essential to build a strong squad and with the players getting fitter, and to continue in the same veign as in the 5-3 success against Leverstock Green the previous week.

Things are on the up and up, but against Kingsbury his players really had to dig deep to achieve the verdict - a sentiment echoed by assistant boss Kevin Wakelin, who said: “We had to win ugly - the result being in doubt right until the last minute clincher from Aaron Gayle.”

Mundt added: “We have recently made significant signings who are adding more quality to our squad, and we are in bouyant mood.

“I will still look to sign players who I think can improve our overall shape, but in the main we are looking to sign from clubs who play above the level we are at now.”

The Boro management were fulsome in the praise of their keeper Mark Virgo, who made such a significant contribution against Kingsbury with two wonder one-on-one saves at crucial stages of the game .
