Haringey Borough To Leave Coles Park

Recommended Posts

It's a very sad day folks, due to huge cuts recently announced and voted through at Haringey Council, it looks like Haringey Borough will shortly be vacating Coles Park:

Keeps - Am I missing something, it couldn't be much clearer than this could it:

'Haringey Borough’s 35-year stay at Coles Park is set to come to an end after Haringey Council approved plans to demolish the historic 80-year-old ground in White Hart Lane'.

I wonder what will happen to the lucrative weekend market if Haringey Borough were to vacate Coles Park and whether the Local Authority will keep the proceeds until developing of the site begins.

So do we know what the position is with Coles Park, will they be plying their trade there next season or at the nearby palatial White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre sponsored by Barclays and Tottenham Hotspur:

It will be sad to see the dear old ground bite the dust, Claremont Road and the White Lion Ground style, and, no doubt, become a housing development:
