Your Help Requested, Please.

Last night at Chelmsford City's home game against Dover we held a bucket collection on behalf of our Japanese player Takumi Ake ("Tako") to try and raise funds for the Red Cross to aid their efforts in Japan after the natural disaster at the weekend. On the night over £1200 was raised in bucket donations plus there is a Just Giving website which continues to receive donations and now stands at over £1600.

 

Sincere thanks go out to all Dover fans that contributed yesterday. I know Tako has been overwhelmed with the response in such a short amount of time.

 

This is such a worthwhile cause as the events over the weekend were truly shocking so if anyone else would like to contribute then you can do so via the justgiving.com. I know its a bit cheeky putting it on here but even if only an extra £10 gets donated as a result then it will have been worth it.
