I can see the headlines now....'Canvey release Messi'

 

Shame it never quite worked out for him. In pre season he really looked a class above but for what ever reason he never carried that performance into the league. Come across I nice bloke & I'm sure he won't struggle to find another club.

Huge shame it didn't quite work out for him but it also tells you about just how strong a team that we have right now.

Isa was a nice guy but was obviously getting disheartened at not even getting on the bench in recent matches. He is a good player, but as the Gaffer says, we have got a strong squad this year and unfortunately he fell behind Rhodes, Gordon, and Curran in the pecking order.

I see from the Ryman Bulletin he made a deadline day switch to Aveley along with former Gull, Chris Sullivan from Billericay.

They'll have plenty of pace on either wing with Isa & Sullivan, not sure it will be enough to keep them up though?
