Anthony Cook

Chelmsford City winger Anthony Cook is joining Canvey on loan according the Chelmsford City website. This is in aid of his rehabilitation from a lengthy injury.

On a side note, anyone who didn't attend the friendly with Chelmsford City last night, missed a cracking goal from Ellis Skidmore. Plenty more of that to come, hopefully!

We have indeed signed Anthony Cook on loan, the official website will be updated in due course.

An excellent loan signing by Batchy, Cook has alot of qualities, which im sure we will benefit from.

Welcome to the Gulls Anthony!

Great signing. Has always looked a good player whenever he has come up against us for Chelmsford.

We'll look after him Peter!

An excellent deal for all involved, he looked good on Wednesday night but obviously needs games to get him back to Blue Square South football, which is something we can help with and will benefit from I'm sure.

It'll be interesting to see what formation John uses with the players at his disposal now.

Apparently this deal look unlikely to happen now. After the paperwork issue he has made a couple of sub appearances for Chelmsford so it looks like they'll be keeping him around the first team squad after all. Shame.
