Anyone on here heard about any new teams joining the league next season I no great wakering should come in for witham ( hopefully!) Heard rumours about saffron Walden, team braintree (which is supposed to be Braintree res) also Haringey brough being switched from the Spartan league, anyone no of this or any more?

Yes, but I believe another North London club will be leaving the ESL though to accommodate them. Also think AFC Braintree are joining a different league, not the ESL.

My friend Prince Babatunde has told me his team Homerton Eagles are to merge with Dalston FC & have made enquiries about joining the Essex League. They have got a groundshare at Clapton FC's lovely stadium.

will take that with all the seriousness it deserves if he had any sense he would know that he needed to have applied in December, the ESL are desperate but having another Clapton clone is not what they are looking for
