Excellent football, one touch slick passing, good movement and some great finishing.

 

That 45 was as good as any the team produced last season.

Made my journey into work all the more pleasurable and more than made up for the fact that the weather here is utter pants! It is 10:00 am approx and barely 12 degrees Celsius!!!

A great night indeed. That first half performance was sublime, as Rother rightly notes above. Ash were made to look awful, although credit to them for their second half fightback where they edged the desire level until they pulled one back. Then we took over again to more than make up for the weekend loss. That scoreline makes us third-top scorers in the Premier Division. Well done to Mick and the team for creating that sort of standard on an awful pitch.
