Another one bites the dust...

Remind me...football... a game where two teams  of 11 kick a ball about on what used to be a field of grass..

According to someone, this is objective... conditions have to be so perfect that the sport cannot be played below a certain level and standard because that same person may have wash the mud out of his "smalls";... not good for going out straight after the game and (/ or), certainly not good for his washing machine or relationship with his "partner"

Winter football is so rare for us that we may as well just shut down for the period... hang on... we have

You know, it is tempting to start supporting our local rugby club. At least they play in these conditions... (go on, someone tell me that those games are rain effected...)

Oh and to join up a comment on the Wealdstone forum... Hands up the collective bunch of ***** who thought it was a good idea to include an extra two clubs to help with any fixture pile up?

Obviously when that decision was made a collective of officials had inadvertantly left the insides of their craniums on the sideboard for a polish..

It really is dispairing at times. evolution, development and learning is based on experience and referral on what has gone on before (history chaps, lessons learned to avoid making the SAME mistakes). Guess what, the past two or three seasons have been a bloody night mare over the winter months thanks to the weather...do did certain people in the league own a TARDIS and happened to skip off to some alternative galactic plain while the rest of us were either freezing or swimming... Or that winter just happens to someone else...
