It's not the council's to sell Glen (i don't think). I'm pretty sure the land it's on is still owned by the DFE (being a former school) and thus you'd be talking directly to the government.

The land is owned by the DofE.

I had someone I know that works for them check for me given I'm also in education when SBC started listing assets and they confirmed the land itself is DofE.

Extremely unlikely it would/could ever be sold to developers so to speak as it would create a massive Safeguarding issue with schools both ends.

Was there RR. Dorking had a strong team out and where rubbish. According to their fans sitting around us it's the worst they have played all season and I think that's probably the case. Walton could have won by 3/4 more if it wasn't for the Dorking keeper having a blinder. Not only that, it was 2 errors that cost Dorking their first 2 goals so Walton didn't have to do much to beat them. Poor night, ending a poor season for Dorking.

As you were there SF, the young Walton keeper Jos Barker has been getting some rave reviews.

Do you have any view on him?

It's funny RR as I was going to mention him in the post. Looked pretty good IMO. Very, very confident with the ball at his feet, made a couple of very good saves from Alfie Rutherford and kicks it a mile from the goal kick as well. Had no chance with the goal due to poor Walton defending from a free kick allowing Rutherford a free header 5 yards from goal so no shane there. Very small sample size but looked very good in the game.

Certainly reading the reviews on him they rate him very highly and one I think we should be looking at if we haven't got a keeper lined up already.

Hornchurch have announced the signing of striker Joe Taylor from Ramsgate.

Scoring 48 league goals last season he picked up the NGA award for top scorer at steps 1 to 4 of non league football.

34? Has he ever played at Step 2?
