Matt Briggs ex Dorking has signed for Salisbury. For me this is a big red warning signal. I’d place Salisbury as one of a few teams that are similar to us in terms of ‘ambition’. But if they can attract the calibre of Briggs (who we once wanted too, and should be type of player we’re looking at) then this just pushes us further down the pecking order.

Disagree with that Glen. Briggs has been done as a real impact for Dorking for the past 2 years since his serious knee injury. Injury prone, older player that I'm sure commands a very large wage for this level still. Not the type of player we want.

He’s 29 so in his prime still and a very good player. According to some Salisbury fans they’ve secured him for £450pw which is a bargain for his experience and certainly someone I’d hope was within our budget.

Hampton are making a bit of a statement themselves.

They've signed highly rated Stan Flaherty from Kingstonian.

The 23 year old midfielder scored 16 goals and had 12 assists last season.

Saw him score a heck of a freekick in the play offs game against Uxbridge a few weeks back. On the day was one of the best Kingstonian players so no surprise he has made the step up. Quick, good feet and very direct. A good signing for them I'd say.

SF, ex A23 player Ada Okorogheye has left Uxbridge having scored 18 goals for them at step 4.

When he was with us he was just a raw talent, in your opinion do you think he's now good enough to return to us as one of our strikers?

Just to add their supporters on x are gutted that he's leaving.

16 goals from midfield is more than some strikers get.

Strong and quick with a decent eye for goal in the 10 or so Uxbridge games we saw him in this year. I wouldn't have him down as a #1 target but wouldn't be unhappy if I saw him announced as a Slough player either.

Being a local lad and being ex A23 (unless his circumstances have changed) he could be a decent fit for us.

I think Maidstone have been very pleased with what they have seen from Temi, & have come back to see who else they can pick up for free…. but I don’t recall Temi & Gilbert playing together for us.

It has surprised me that we haven’t seen Bayliss signing for Maidstone though.

With Temi and Reiss Greenidge perhaps Maidstone have two CB's that are better than Bayliss?

You've also got to think about a 4 hour round trip around the M25 virtually every day.

We don’t know where players live though? Might be closer or being full time can afford to move/rent closer.
