Bath City reached the Semi-Finals of The FA Trophy for the first time in their history with a 2-1 victory over Dover Athletic.
First-half goals from Dave Pratt and Chas Hemmings proved to be enough on Tuesday night as the home side claimed a memorable win in their Fourth Round clash.

Tyrone Sterling pulled one back for Dover 22 minutes from time to set up a nervy finish as Naby Diallo was also shown a red card.

But Bath held firm to keep alive their hopes of playing in The FA Trophy Final at Wembley in March, which will be shown live on BT Sport.

The hosts dominated the opening exchanges of the match and after Andy Watkins had a goal disallowed they did finally take the lead.

This time Watkins turned provider as on 24 minutes he crossed for Pratt to glance a header into the back of the net.

Five minutes later Bath's lead was doubled when Hemmings rose highest to flick Chris Allen's free-kick past the goalkeeper.

Hemmings then struck the woodwork with a free-kick as Bath looked set to run away with the match.

However in the 68th minute, Dover found a route back into the match when an error from Phil Walsh allowed Sterling to fire a low shot home.

Diallo then saw red for Bath, for the second time in as many games, forcing the hosts to dig deep to hold firm.

But they did and they now face a clash against North Ferriby for a spot in The Final at the National Stadium.
