Lincoln City have announced that midfielder Charlee Adams has been recalled from his youth loan by parent club Birmingham City.

Having played 14 times for the Imps towards the end of last season, the 20-year-old returned to Sincil Bank in November and missed just one game during his second stint with the Club.

Charlee, who weighed in with spectacular goals against Grimsby Town and Aldershot Town, returns to Birmingham with the best wishes of everyone at Lincoln City and we wish him every success in his future career.

"We've recalled Charlee just because we feel that he's had the experience going out to Lincoln which is what we wanted," said Blues boss Gary Rowett.

"We're really thankful to Lincoln and we think they've progressed him really well. I don’t really like to take a player away from a team at this stage but we all look at what we think is best for the player.

"We've apologised to Lincoln but we just felt for his development he’s going to be better off for the last couple of months back here where we can give him give him the best possible chance to hit the ground running next season."
