Well I can honestly say it hasn't been me that has been playing the drum for the previous five or six games for one reason or another. I was playing it for the majority of the game against Scarborough and will be at the controls against Notts County.
I must ask though, when we start songs behind the goal, could a few more of you join in.
Please remember YOU are supporters also and you too can start songs for the rest of us to join in.

Lets have a party atmosphere down stonebridge road on saturday, because no matter what the scoreline is, the club is on display to the world and it is our chance to let em know......."WE ARE MIGHTY GRAVESEND!"

I've noted the messages regarding the mass migration of THWL to behind the goal.( Last time I watched a game from the Plough End was the Wimbledon cup game when Lee kept saving penalties.)

As a Halfway Liner , I've always thought we've carried the singing by default over the years , probably at our best in the Dr Martens Southern but maybe past our vocal sell by date now.

Though I doubt if many other clubs have singing vice presidents and benefactors .

I'm not sure that you can describe Ronnie & Matrix as a mass migration.

 

The Hard core HWL found a suitable place to park ourselves on Saturday and I suspect we will occupy the same place again this week.

I will resume my usual spot just to the right of the goal, making as much noise as i can, Baring in mind there's usually twice as many halfway liners than Plough End Boys, they don't make a lot of noise! We've been given a preview on Sky Sports News, who's Grant Best?? Bit before my time...

Drummer, keep it banging for the whole match including half time, including ten minutes before kick off, and after the final whistle!

Grant Best was playing when I started supporting the Fleet back in 1995, my first game when we beat Marlow in the 4th Q round 2nd replay. Think he played in the game against Colchester and games against Cinderford too, and i have got his autograph on the back of my Aston Villa programme, along with Jacko, Mark Munday, Lee Turner, Micky Cotter and Dave Powell's.
