1. Canvey Island Tried to ruin this seasons trip by putting it on a Tuesday. Biggest away turnout for the EFM boys (sometimes over 20) - Fishface, Thames Esturay skinnydipping, drug taking, wit, taking over the Jellicoe, bus to police station to name just a few

2. Bognor Regis Town Drink spiking, pedistrian centre chanting, teenagers brought stella, crazy golf attack, milky bars on person and dished out to kids on train, almost ejected from train

3. Hitchin Town Masking tape and finding a wife

4. Maidenhead United A surprise entry - Reading festival extention, derelict house, EFM PA

5. Bedford Short boozy train ride

6. Sutton First memory of Zeal - In shorts with a bottle of wine

7. Carshalton Another train ride - Cheerleaders???

Potential with some done

8. Kingstonian Just don't take it into their football league ground

9. Braintree Highest climber made possible since Big Ron has arrived

10. Billericay Nice train ride, shame about the locals

11. Grays Saturday game can rival the best - Tuesday game just depressing

12. Basingstoke Town Long trip should make for boozy fans, some made trip on train last season, highlight was Toys'r'us

13. Hornchurch Can see a big rise for this club next season if the game is on a Saturday

14. Bishops Stortford Can be done on the train and probably should be

15. Hendon If we didn't always get this game on a cold wet Tuesday night in March with nothing to play for I should imagine it'll be a lot higher

16. Ford Another possible boozy train ride

Not been there yet but must be better than the rest

17. Kettering Another potential great one - except it's on a Tuesday night

18. Northwood Other side of watford - could be a abby flyer and bus job

19. Aylesbury A bitch to get to on the train, moody inbred people, that bloody band. Although a smirnoff ice did make an apperenace last season clutched in the hand of a lone pitch invader

20. Hayes Just want to get in, then out, another midweek game last season so got a chance to climb this year

21. Harrow OK for drinking in the ground and could be done on the train but everybody just seems to want to drive there and get it out the way

22. Thurrock Miles from the station and extremely depressing

23. Heybridge Ditto

Jobs worth award for Stewards at a Ryman League Ground. Last Season - August away to Bedford on a Tuesday night, neither team with a history between the clubs. Usually as long as you take your drink out of the club in plastic, clubs dont have a problem with you taking it anywhere round the ground, apart from Bedford that is.

 

The game kicked off, went with Beer in plastic and flag to end Braintree were attacking as the norm, when this job worth stated that I could not take it out of the designated area. For those who have not been to Bedford it's like a picnic area outside the club house. No offence Bedford fans, everything else about your club and fans I enjoyed but the attitude of your stewards, well.

That pretty much sums up some of our stewards, jobs worth when they don't need to be but do f*ck all when someone complains.

Kingstonian are the worst, a couple of seasons ago they got actual bouncers in the ground, told us they were a football league ground and what we were doing was illegal. We stopped drinking but asked to see where it said that we couldn't drink, they took us outside to show us a massive sign which wasn't there when we came in, they they wouldn't let us back in the ground and called the police! Muppetts, no wonder they went bust!

I think he did and Bin Fadhel did a one man pitch invasion, I think I was in Oz then, I remember getting an e-mail about it!

I imagine Kettering will be much the same as Kingstonian a couple of seasons ago, with the "we're a league club" attitude.

Yeah but they dont sing, first home game in the Ryman after relegation from conference, they were Home to Braintree and they didn't make any noise even though they had 1,200 gate, they went 1 up and still nothibng, we had about 40 fans that day, the only noise Kettering made was to whinge after the game, because we knicked all 3 points in the dying seconds. Same as Hayes, big time X conference boys, its good to win at their grounds.

They don't make much noise away either. A good 250 of them turned up at our place on boxing day, none were drunk and few could sing. Really outclassed them 'off the pitch'......just a shame we were a shower of sh1t on it.

I usually find that if the team has a few good drinkers the worse the team on the pitch the louder the support gets, blocking reality out of your mind with drink, isn't that one of the main reasons we have it!
