The Dragons boss had been charged with improper conduct towards both the referee Peter Wright and the fourth official following the 1-1 draw with Sutton United on Saturday, September 30. Keates, who helped guide his side to the top of the National League following Tuesday's 1-0 win at home over Solihull Moors, was unhappy after Ross Lafayette hammered home a leveller for the Us inside injury time. The charges were heard by a FAW Disciplinary Panel hearing where Keates pleaded guilty, with the panel decided on a two-match ban plus £250 for the charge against the referee and a one-match ban plus a £250 fine for the charge against the fourth official.
