Even so, Staffs did threaten, and took one of their chances to lead 0-1 at the interval. Two goals within the first 3 minutes of the second half pretty much sealed the tie for the visitors, and Beds never really got going after that. Four more goals followed by the end. My second visit to the ground, which I'd been to in its SSML days. Grassed on 2 sides, the touchline side being used as a car park - luckily not too soft after all the recent rain.
