An anorak from another Forum plans to be at this one this evening so hopefully there will be a match report to enjoy tomorrow, it is often difficult to obtain reports from Division 1 and, especially, Division 2 games:

SSML1 Shefford Town & Campton v FC Broxbourne Borough 7.45

More meat on the bones on this one from another Forum:

FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round - Replay
Aylesbury Vale Dynamos 1 - 0 Royal Wootton Bassett. (HT 1-0)
Adm £6/3, Team sheet Free, Attendance 204
Tea £1, Cheeseburger £3.50

Fancying a bit more FA Cup action tonight, this fixture was the nearest ground that I haven't yet been to. Going straight from work I thought I had arrived early, but Haywood Way was already full, so I parked in a neighbouring street. Inside the new blue and yellow tunnel was already stretched out towards the pitch. A club house/bar immediately to the left leading to a covered main stand with flip seats. At the back of the stand is a food hatch. Further cover was behind one goal.

A lovely atmosphere inside the ground, with over 200 in the crowd, lots of young children and Aylesbury each had the hand of a mascot as they lined up on the pitch. The mascots all then decided to use cow bells and air horns behind the goal to show their support, with which they celebrated with gusto for the only goal.

Both teams were evenly matched with both playing at Step 9 with RWB in the Hellenic Premier, and AVD being the most Westerly placed team in the Spartan S Mids Premier. Following the interval Aylesbury initially appeared energised and were unlucky not to score again. RWB then took advantage of AVD being reduced to 10 men owing to a second yellow card for their player. The final 10 minutes were nail biting with it all being played near the opponents' goal who were in turn unlucky not to score at this point. RWB then had one of their players sent off with only minutes to go.

Special mention to Joe Fitzgerald of AVD, playing in a face guard because of his broken nose, and yes, he did head the ball more than once.

And the treble dream continues for Wembley FC ? . Ian Basher Bates has got to be well happy with his clubs start to the season but knowing Basher he will still want more from his players.
