St Neots Town and Eynesbury Rovers have to try again after last night's scheduled Huntingdonshire FA Senior Cup tie was called off due to the inclement weather we are currently experiencing, Godmanchester Rovers and Yaxley FC meet at Bearscroft Lane this evening. I understand that two further Club's enter the competition at the Semi Final stage however I'm not sure who, possibly St Ives Town who defeated Eynesbury Rovers in the 2015/16 final, the competition dates back to the 1988/89 campaign when St Neots lifted the trophy, Eynesbury Rovers first lifted it in 1913/14:

The delayed Huntingdonshire FA Senior Cup tie between St Neots Town and Eynesbury Rovers finally went ahead last night at Rowley Park, in front of 114 spectators, and Eynesbury Rovers prevailed 4-1 on penalties following a pulsating 3-3 stalemate after 90 minutes. I gather the tie between Godmanchester Rovers and Yaxley FC has yet to be played:

Typically Eynesbury Rovers v St Ives Town is off this evening however I wonder whether Steve Kuhne, Ash Fuller and Dean Greygoose had a group hug together in relief as things aren't going well for them at present at Hall Road are they

What a crying shame for Steve Kuhne, Ash Fuller and Dean Greygoose who surely had been looking forward to this Semi Final tie with St Ives Town at Hall Road last night for a place in the Final against Godmanchester Rovers or Huntingdon Town:

Huntingdonshire FA Senior Cup Semi Final

Eynesbury Rovers P St Ives Town (Tue 17 Mar)

Huntingdonshire FA are putting the following into action, to mitigate against the spread of COVID-19:
All county cup fixtures are postponed with immediate effect for three weeks (April 3rd, 2020), Huntingdonshire FA will review this on a weekly basis and provide updates every Friday. Games that are due to take place within the next two weeks will be postponed and rearranged at a suitable time.

A sad statement from the Huntingdonshire FA:

Huntingdonshire FA Statement

21st March 2020

The Huntingdonshire FA Board in consultation with County Cups Chairman Lawrie Cooke have decided that all Huntingdonshire FA County Cup Competitions that have not been completed this season will be declared null and void.

It has also been decided that entry into the 2020-2021 County Cups will be free of charge to all teams.

We are experiencing unprecedented times and hopefully we will be in a position once the virus is declared over to get back up and running with our normal way of life, we appreciate that football will play an important part in this recovery thus we are gradually working on how we can plan for such eventuality.

We thank every club for their support in this unprecedented and challenging time.
