So, the unbeaten run continues and we move into 4th place.
A tougher match than expected, Leatherhead were compact at the back and quick to close down but also didn't really offer much going forwards but still had a couple of decent chances.
But Hornchurch kept at it until Tobi broke the deadlock.
Hard luck for Remi not getting on the score sheet with another fine run into the box but Higgo on hand to tidy up after the goal line save.

That is the third game in a row Sam Higgins has come on in the 74th minute and scored - that's scarily consistent.

Was hard viewing at times but we ground out the result without ever getting out of second gear. The midfield didn't seem to be on the same wavelength at times unlike previous week's but a wins a win and the run continues! Well done lads

Great result - the teams around us couldn’t keep winning and the other results mostly went our way today. Well done to Hornchurch. Good result for East Thurrock , amazed by that
