EFL League 1 (Third Division in old money) Play Off.

The home grounds of the two London teams in today's play-off final invoke memories of two particularly impressive headed goals. One bad, one good-to invert Chappers. Tony Bass's oh so late equalizer in the Amateur Cup semi-final at The Valley and Rowan Dodds' in that FA Cup Tie at Brisbane Road. But I guess we may be a little more ambivalent these days about what used to be a celebrated feature of the game.

Remember both of those. Rowan's goal was one of those you knew was going in from the moment Harris's cross came over. As for the Daggers game, one of many that means I will view us renewing rivalry with them with anticipation and trepidation.
