Try reading the rest of the article Glen;there's a photo further down which (appears) to show him in all his 6'2 glory!

Yes I know Nathan… my humour was obviously wasted on you!

So to summarise so far:

1. Glen's comedy is better suited to something like Have I Got News For You; it's totally wasted on this forum (and on me 😆)

2. Peter Ojemen is probably 6'2. He may have been 5'5 at one point (possibly as a result of his head injury), but Scott is fairly confident that he is in fact 6'2.

I promise you he’s not 5’5! I’m not height-ist but I’d never sign a 5’5 centre back. He’s over 6ft.

Ok Scott, I was only going by all his stats bar the one so I have no problem accepting I must be wrong and he is in fact 6'2.

So far 5 new signings announced Johnny Gilbert leaving to pursue opportunities to go full time. So things are happening quickly and looks like Scott has been busy so far . Gilbert should look at Johnny Goddard who left us to go full time and it didn’t end up how he wanted it to be and ended up back with the Rebels. Roll on more signings

And now......Gilbert's gone...I'm seeing nothing but doom and gloom at this point, so much for the competitive budget....just wait for Slavi and Ogbonna leaving announcements.

Not surprised but yes concerning. Not holding out much hope that either Oggy or Slavi will stay. Our signings so far are young with potential but no guarantees that can adapt to this level quickly. I’m really hoping the remaining signings include some proper experienced (not necessarily old!) players ideally with step 2 history. Otherwise I can’t see where the improved budget has gone not to mention the circa £50k we got for Leon and Edon?

Some of you on here need to get out more and get a  life, the season is over ffs

Posting on social media, whether that's on this forum, x or facebook doesn't stop because it's not the football season.

It's a choice supporters make because it's a way of communicating during the close season.

Just like it's your choice to read the forum but hardly ever to post.

Just very concerning that were not getting any experience at this level in , and that our best players are departing, so I don't see anything going forward that saying we are avoiding the drop and the squad is capable of staying up,  especially again we have no goalkeeper to add to the problem.  Henry and Dyce are the best 2 signings everyone else is a gamble for our beloved club

With all the midfielders we are signing imo it was always on the cards that Gilbert was going.

Can we stop this Doom & Gloom nonsense I’ve been following the Rebels for 40 years and I really remember the bad times when the Thorne’s didn’t get what they wanted from the council and soon took off with there money and left us on the verge of being extinct, so losing a few players is no big deal. As long as the club is safe and secure then I’m happy, also everyone has to trust Scott’s judgement on players and recruitment. COYR

If Gilbert is going full time to a bigger club for more money and a better chance of promotion, it wouldn't make any difference if we have a competitive or much larger budget it wouldn't have stopped him going.

The same will go for Oggy and Slavi if they decide to leave.

Not really doom and gloom is it ? Show the positives considering where we finished after the strong start we had ,  and with what players that have departed,  the competition is stronger 💪 it's a matter of facts we've added Dyce...a positive... if fit.......Henry...has stayed massive positive ....have i missed anything?

As Johnny Goddard found out these bigger full time clubs have bigger squads with top players and suddenly game time is a lot less and bench time is a lot more.
