Average age, just over 23

From what we saw from Aaron White I believe he will play more and more as the season goes on. He looked really solid for his age and will only get better

Kiki Oshilaja, center back from step 3 Cray Valley (PM).

On paper this looks like a good signing and another hungry player with the potential to go higher 👍.

Loving your pun there! 😆

Shame he's only 4 ft 3 lol

Welcome to the Rebels, Kiki!

But he has specially built boots that make him 6”4’.

The word online about Kiki couldn't be better. Very highly thought of and to quote one tweet I saw "one of the best 3 CBs at Step 3". Another positive signing for us and I'd say we probably have - 1 x CB and then the decision on Ogbonna and Spasov to solve. Once they are done I suspect we will be fairly sorted as a squad.

I make you about right SF.

Maybe a CB that's experienced at this level?

I think we're going to need a wide player/winger so how long do we hang on and wait to see if a club makes a firm approach for Oggy.

Strange how football works, at the start of last season we were inundated with wingers now currently we have none.

We have the EDS lad but maybe we’re not going with the wingers model this season?

We need to get Scott Davies on a longer contract but I guess he wants to manage higher up the pyramid

I reckon that'll probably be on the agenda at some point during next season.

Strikes me as we are perfectly set up for a 3-5-2 / 5-3-2 with those players we have signed so far. The width comes from the wing backs and midfielder playing wider at times as opposed to out and out wingers. IF Ogbonna stays put, a slight variation would be possible with him on the right wing and Goddard on the left / the EDS lad.

Wasn’t it mentioned at the Fans Forum that Scott is currently on a player contract until the end of 2025/2026 & although he had received approaches for Managerial roles he wants to continue playing for as long as possible?

So, it will probably be a wait & see how often he plays this season & whether it will be a player or manager contract beyond this season.

So, if you were to have a guess now at the line up for our first league match, who would you be picking.

Personally I wouldn’t have a clue, other than the new keeper & Henry!

Brief interview with Jefferson Louis on R5L this morning, largely about his retirement after a long career. The presenter named some of the many clubs for which he had played including Maidenhead Town (sic). He talked briefly about his new role here and put in good words for the chairman and manager.
