Quite a lot Enfield Town Players have agreed to have their Heads Shaved to raise some much needed funds for the Chemotherapy Unit that I am attending at Chace Farm Hospital.

 

The "Shave" will take place in a few weeks time after training on a Thursday evening at Brimo.

 

Anyone interested in sponsoring can contact me on my usual numbers on the ETFC Web Site, or send me a private email on the forum.

 

There should be something on the ETFC Web Site very soon with Sponsorship Forms etc.

 

BTW My next lot of Chemo is due on Thursday of this week. Things seem to be progressing nicely, hope to find out more on Thursday.

I now have Sponsorship Forms ready for the "Big Shave Off" I am hoping to be at the London APSA Game tomorrow,at the moment I don't feel too good,as I had my Chemo yesterday but, if I am not I am sure Mrs R or Jess will do the honours for me.

 

I have a provisional date of Thursday April 1st 2004 at Brimo (No its not a wind up) after Training probably about 8.00 to 8.30, but have still to confim this.

 

IF any supporters want to take part they are more than welcome, but the more sponsors we get the better.

unable to join in as an ETLFC commitee meeting that day (thats my excuse and I`m sticking to it)so I will sponsor someone else.

The date for the "BIG SHAVE OFF" has been confirmed as Thursday 1st April 2004, at Brimo in the Lounge Bar, & will take place after training.

 

A couple of players are unable to have their Heads shaved due to the type of work they do, but have agreed to have their Legs Waxed. OUCH!!!

was going to mention it after todays game but the match was called off 45 mins before the start then they tried to re-arrange at another pitch 1 &1/2 miles away but when that was called off twenty mins after original kick-off time everybody run before they had any more bright ideas.

And you thought a late postponement at Southend Manor was bad.
