I think we can pull off a win. I know we weren't that good last week (ok, we were awful!), but I think we will bounce back. I definately think Black should start, but I'm not sure if Stowe should get picked over KK. Perhaps bring him on later in the game if we're not doing that well up front.

this is a game we need to win so i would go for an attacking line up 4-4-2. i am assuming that sam taylor won't be fit after being carted off last week but that darrell aziz should be back.

in my xi leon is unlucky to miss out as he's been playing well lately but tomlinson just gets the nod and i start with stowe as along with black he s the sort of player who can unlock the door altho i have also been impressed with baukhams efforts off the bench of late. we must attack. i would also say that if the above is the starting xi i ll start calling myself j van l the dutchman.

Verdict from Sam after the game on Saturday was that his ankle wasn't as bad as he first thought - I would guess that he'll still be out though. Have to say that Stowe didn't exactly set the world alight for the ressies last week so would be surprised if he starts. Reckon Black should come back in, and either Tomlinson or Opara should partner Hockton.

I would like to see Davidson in the midfield as we have missed his drive but we are vunerable with Redders at the back so until we get another centre back he will have to play at the back. Not a great fan of Hunter.

Well I think Michael Black certaintly deserves a chance tomorrow, for the last two games we've lacked any sort of balance and width with the majority of our play being straight down the middle. Dont know if Aziz if fit?

 

May also be worth considering leaving Hockton on the bench? controversial but considering the success we had when starting with tomlinson and KK upfront it might be something for JE to consider, and Hockton can come on against a tiring defence. Also dont think Brickell should start, hes been poor recently.

Sam Taylor is out injured so obviously Henty fills the space nicely.

 

For reasons that I can't fathom, the team doesn't seem to to tick with out Blackie in the starting line up. Our best results and performances of the season have always been when we have a wide player on the field and altho (in my opinion) Steve Jones is a better crosser of the ball, Blackie gives us options out wide and in the middle. I would bring Steve on to run their defence ragged in the latter part of the game.

 

KK, in my mind was off the boil in the last game but he creates things for Danny to latch on to and I think it fair to say the whole team was "off the boil" last Saturday so why take one player out. KK holds the ball up better than anyone else in the squad, is strong and when in the mood, is fast and detirmined...I'm looking forward to him proving me right.

 

Tomo, a talented player but over the past couple of games looks out os place. I dunno if this is because he is playing out of position or what. If we had the luxury, I would play him as an attacking midfield player, behind Hockton and KK, linking with the midfield. And for that reason, I've dropped Hunter to sub. Leon has come on over the past couple of weeks and in my mind does deserve automatic choice but...I would like to see if Tomo could channel his frustration into something tangable. He is due to show us what he can really do.
