Braintree do a Shoot For a Meal penalty-shoot out between opposing fans at half time, and have had great success with this. It's a "burger meal" I think.

They also ran a competition to design a mascot among the local schools and in the local rag, which must have helped raise their profile a tad. I know you have Hooky...but I thought it was far-sighted of Braintree to make it public.

Our meal is sponsored by a local pub, Mr.H who provide a Sunday roast for two.

Our club Mascot - "Billy the Braintree Bull" was designed by a 9 year old, it got the Supporters Club local media attention and they wish to have photos of Billy and Mollie (she designed Billy) for our 1st Ryman Premier home game next tuesday.

If we can do it, I am sure you can, we have gates of about 200 last year, in a struggling Ryman Premier team and consider the P.R side a major success.
