In all seriousness.

 

Why are you actually going abroad if all you want to do is eat, drink, go clubbing and meet British guys??

 

All of this can be down in most major towns in the UK for a fraction of the price of your air-fare and accomodation.

 

So you want to get a tan? Use a sun-bed in your local leisure centre and still have a few hundred quid left over.

 

I've never understand the appeal of going on holiday just to do exactly the same as you would on an average weekend in the UK.

 

When I go away, I like to see a country properly and visit some interesting places.

 

The holiday you have planned sounds incredibly depressing.

Claire, there are 2 places ideal for you.

 

1. Kavos, Corfu, There are bars and clubs, it is a centre for people I would label 'lowest common denominator'. I see you in a place like this.

 

2. Magaluf, Majorca, quite simply a sh1thole

I went to Kavos once and can confirm this!

 

If you want all that you mention but without the tosspots then avoid places like Falaraki/Kavos etc etc

 

Do a bit of research and find somewhere a little up and coming or not discovered yet. I went to Zante the other year and it was smaller than most resorts, hadn't been infested by the English disease yet. It had loads to do and see, was actually a really nice beach and had a [****!!****] good nightlife and people were freindly.

 

BTW Ibiza is either another place full of tosspots or a serious clubbers place (so you won't be hearing any Top 40 hits) where people are usually f*cked on drugs rather than booze!

We went to Kavos last year!!!!!!! Brilliant!!!!! We shared 2 pints of Head F@cker - which was a cocktail that was quite literally a Head F@cker!!!!!!!! (not a good idea for me to drink a pint of it becasue after, on the way home, i was rolling across a fence (aparently) and i was speaking to the local dogs (aparently)!!!!!)

 

I was looking through my holiday broacher last night and i have decided that we are going to go to Magaluf in Majorca - still spain, with loads of clubbing, and it's still going to be hot!!!!!!!!!

Actually the only good memory from the Greek Tradgedy that was Kavos is that me and a group of 5 friends went to see England play Greece in Athens. 13 hours each way but a great game and atmosphere, also got us away from that awful resort. I really hated Kavos and so did my friends.
