UCL-dead or alive?

Not much chat going on here for lively UCL supporters? What does anyone think of Stotfold for the championship with Steve Cook in charge? Who else is in the frame - St.Neots perhaps with a few useful signings? Newport should do well after a good gate versus MK Dons. Will Potton be a surprise packet? Where now for Boston Town?

Well, I've tried! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> [color:"purple"] [/color]

Well, rainstorm put paid to that idea. Today opposite problem; two hours drive to Sutton Coldfield to watch the lads or one hour to watch

Haywood United?Or St.Albans v.Charlton? Roll on the real football UCL style, with a pint of Eagle in your hand.

Well; Buckingham Town through to the Preliminary round of the F.A.Cup and away to Harlow next Saturday. That's a tough nut to crack! Are Harlow still in a stadium with a running track round the outside or,have things moved on? Didn't they have a good run a season or two ago?

Yes Harlow got through to the fourth round proper beating Leicester City on the way and then losing to Watford. However, that was some years ago and the club has had some financial problomes since then. They lost their game today and got a bad write up from their fans. Also they have 7 players out injured, and although most of them will be back in their squad next week, they will not be match fit. With Christopher Wreh now playing in our squad we have every chance of beating them on Saturday. Moses and Martin will be back in the squad. Lee Orcheston and Lance Gentle King unsure whethEr their injuries will be healed in time.

I am looking forward to the match as it should be a good game.

Well it was good while it lasted 1-0 up for about three minutes until Harlow equalised. They worked hard to get back into the game finished well twice and held the ball well therafter. Two went off sadly, but it was not a dirty game. Back to the drawing board. I didn't envy anyone trying to run around in that heat for 90 mins.

Well, Raunds away Saturday for BTFC and Woodford United home on Wednesday. Really need maximum points from both matches,a good home win would help. Woodford are going some and its probably no 2 local derby mileage wise. See you there.Wow, we're up to 100 views. Come UCL'ers! Up the Robins.

Well one win down another to go. We need the win at Woodford to keep our movement up the table. The lads are playing a lot better than at the start of the season and seem to be geling more as a team. See you on Wednesday

A close 1-0 result against a good Woodford side on Wednesday, and a slightly more convincing one 3-0 against Northampton Spencer today. At times played the fast and flowing football that Morell Maison is so good at coaching.Early days yet lots of promise. Northampton Spencer were not going to roll over and contributed some nice touches of their own, as usual 90 minutes of committed UCL football.Roll on Wednesday for a crack at Newport Pagenell in the league cup at 7.45pm.Come on Jamesey, tell us about Yaxley from their perch at the top of the league!

Well another week rolls by and the UCL chatter is utterly deafening!Buckingham need to look out for

S & L Corby at home today as they come to us on the back of two good wins- yes, we have noticed!

Town need another 3 points to confirm their improvement, but the UCL is a constant tough test, and the return of Paul Stanley will help.
