Margate Football Club

Recommended Posts

John Prodger and Graham Roope were Margate's 2 previous Goalkeeping cricketers.

Alan Brow, another Kent CC player did well for Margate in the early 60's.

Don't know David Holden is interferring in this thread. Perhaps he's realised that Gravesgate aren't going anyway

Why have a go at David Holden? He makes a very valid point. And maybe you have forgotten who provides this forum.

TonyM - I think Jeff was referring to Legend. As David said earlier, there are copyright laws, and Jeff puts a lot of effort into his excellent website. A bit of credit here or there wouldn't go amiss, it's good manners.

BTW - Lennie Long attends Arsenal games - possibly a season ticket holder. He also plays golf at North Foreland. It's in his profile at http://www.margatefchistory.co.uk/lennielong.htm (see how easy that was Legend).

Apologies DAVID HOLDEN for the above "spolender"s

comments. He knows not what he says. You got us through a bad time and are still continuing to provide us with a source to communicate with each other. Am sure his comments are restricted to himself and no other. We are very grateful for your help.

You are obviously envious. You either agree or disagree but please do not make personal statements like you do unless you are identifiable.
