A questiion for Jim Cunneen...

Anfield Towner

A friend of mine attended a football dinner earlier this week with one of my heroes, Alan Kennedy.

Not only did he score the winning goal in the 1981 European Cup Final against the mighty Real Madrid but, as far as I know, is the only player ever to have played for both Liverpool and Enfield.

My friend reminded him of this and he recalled that he played about 4 games for the E's. Can you come up with any stats for his time at the E's when you get a chance? Was it during the season we got relegated from the Conference, with Ferguson in charge, as is my recollection?

Cheers,

Mr Kennedy played three times for the Es in late 1990 under the best-forgotten Mr Ferguson, leaving when the manager was removed to make way for Ted Hardy. What then followed was not pretty....
