Judging by their football forum, which features plenty of postings along the lines of "didn't go to the game, couldn't be bothered" their fans are now so flaky I doubt many of them were there in the first place.

I would imagine that, in that case, they couldn't be bothered if they were in or out of the Cup. So the decision really doesn't matter.

Well, I was there on Saturday, but no, I can't say I've been suffering sleepless nights over this business.

 

As I tried to explain to a Heybridge mong on a separate forum, my life does not revolve around a, quite frankly sh*t, non-league football club.

 

That this has happens has shocked few of us, to be honest. Just typical of the amateur going-ons at the club.

 

A cheque for £3,750 that needs shredding? So what? I don't know what happens at Billericay, but certainly the fans don't get a share of the cup winnings at St Albans.

 

So no. I'm not bothered one jot.
