With the Americans estimated to have spent £125b pound in Iraq war or what!ever final figure they come up with just how much have we spent on this invasion and inability to win the peace

£10 billion pounds? £15 billion pounds? of course we will never be told but to gain some balance to Bliars thinking have a look at this letter in todays mail

Great we!ve been given pension credit of £2.28 a week, not so great when my husband celebrates his 80th birthday next week, he!ll get an extra 25p on his pension but the pension credit will be reduced by 10p: name and address supplied

Tell me again about Bliars great dream for the UK, Tell me again about the great humanitarian socialist party

Good Lord pabird, you don't read the Mail do you? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I keep telling you, Blair and the present New Labour party are NOT socialists. They are more right wing than the Tories were when I was an invisible nipper.

So who will you vote for next time around

There can be little doubt that Bliar and his cronies are changing the face of our country in a manner that is cynical, self seeking and against all GB heritage logic

I probably won't be voting I'm afraid. Even the Lib Dems don't impress me any more.

There is no democratic left of centre party any more and both major parties have descended into American style personality politics - rather embarrasingly in the case of the Tories, given the "personalities" at their disposal!

Most of the policies of the two parties seem to be exactly the same, with different terminology to make the look different. The bottom line is that both will try to buy the vote by appealing to the elecorate's greed, and it will work. Health, education, housing, pensions, defence, all will suffer - continue to suffer - as a result.

Yes I did say defence!
