Well despite having a few players out, we seem to have shaken off our customary early-season lethargy and appear to have stepped up a gear. We made Barkingside look pretty ordinary and in front of our biggest crowd of the season, 155. There seemed more, but hey it is an improvement. Two goals from Scott Walsh early in the second half did the business, but we had numerous chances to make the result more convincing. Still six league wins on the spin and the last three against Southend Manor, Sawbo and Barko things ain't three bad.

November is an important month for us and the next three matches could mean a good or ordinary season for us. Southend Manor away in the League Cup Tuesday, then the Abbots in the GBT (which incidentally Romford won last season) and then they game that they could or would not move...against the Townies. Shame it couldn't be moved to a Saturday as it may have generated the biggest crowd in the league this season.

With Danny Benstock, Kevin Clark and Kevin Harvey et al to come back things are improving at Rush Green Road.
