I am slowly adding some new features to the forums.

 

Added so far...

 

• Badges before forums - in the main list view you will now see badges before the majority of club forums. If your forum does not have an image, feel free to supply one by emailing it to admin@nonleague.net - the image should be 30 pixels square - or I resize if required

• Custom Titles - you can now select your own custom title of up to 100 characters - please keep them clean, and do not abuse this right - otherwise it will be withdrawn. We reserve the right to amend and custom titles. You may need to periodically reset your custom title as it may default back to the standard ones each time you pass a certain post count.

• Spell Checker - you can now spell check your posts - clicking on the button, will open a new window - sadly this is a US site so certain words will still be wrong but at least it should help. It will also only check a limited size of message - if your message is too long I suggest you use a word processor or email client to spell check for you. Once you have checked your spelling, you will need to cut and paste back to the original message box.
• Auto Quote - you can now quote the person you are replying to - don't forget you now reply to the post rather than the thread - replying to the message improves the threaded view.

 

More modifications are coming, some small, others not so small, but hopefully they will all combine to make these the best forums available for your club or league.

Some more features have gone live tonight...

 

Also added...

 

• No Text - if you add either NT or [NT] to the end of your subject header then the words NT = No Text will be automatically placed in the main post box - and no further info is needed from you, apart from hitting submit.

• Graemlins - you can add several new graemlins to your messages - enjoy...

• Mark Up - We have added a few extra mark-up codes to the forums. The codes below have all had a ! added just after the first [ this is to avoid the software from automatically displaying the mark-up - you will need to remove the ! - all these codes can also be found in the FAQ linked from the navigation above.

   

  Those now available include:

   

  [!line:red]

   

  = Inserts a red horizontal ruler

   

  [!line:#00FF00]

   

  = Inserts a green horizontal ruler.

   

  [!size:X] text size>

  text size> = Changes the size of the given text (X can be 1 to 7, with or without +/- in front).

   

  [!comic] text face=comic>

  text face=comic> = Shows the given text with the Comic Sans font.

   

  [!brush] text face=brush>

  text face=brush> = Shows the given text with the Brush Script MT font.

   

  [!spoiler] text

   

  Spoiler below:
  [color:"#DDDDDD"] This text is hidden until you move the mouse over it!!!

  = Text that will be hidden until marked with the mouse.

   

  See the FAQ above for the full list available to enhance your messages including tables, aligning text etc.

• Last Post By - In the right hand column of each forum, you will now see an entry for the last post by... this will appear for all posts that have had replies from now onwards, and enables you to go straight to that post.
