Just been to have a butchers at the Bowers pitch and it's completely waterlogged (10:00am inspection tomorrow).

Not yet, we are afterall in the festive/miracle season. If the rain stops (no sign of that yet) then it might be possible to fork and drain the excess.

Depends. If more rain was on the way I'd be more inclined to take the deep end as that would be even worse in the second half <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

You've got no forking chance mate. Still tipping it down here in Romford, with snow expected later and more of the same tomorrow afternoon. The longer I look out of the window, the less the thought of Romford v London APSA tomorrow inspires me.

Its not as though we are short of an odd Saturday or too to get these games replayed - so long as the Cup Qaurter Final games are allocated for weekends !

Hey Coup, I'm supposed to be going to Romford Dogs tonight. What are the chances of it still being on and do they ever cancel the racing???

It is normally only serious frost that cancels the cherries, so a drop of rain will not affect the meeting. Don't forget to put your money on the one that has a dump before it goes into the traps! Unless it is a kennel maid of course!

By the lokks of it outside my office window, it is already dusk. What a s*** day. Mind you it was Little Miss Happy's Christmas play this morning. Now that did put a smile on my face.

Thats nice, was watching breakfast TV this morning and they were talking about nativity plays declining. Was so funny watching all these kids with tea towels on their heads!

Well, they did do a nativity but her class told the story of the fir tree that wanted to be chopped down to become a Christmas tree. LMH was the Christmas tree seller and her voicebox was programmed to say "Come and buy your trees!" She then proceeded to push the button on a number of occassions!
