XMAS IS HERE...!!!

...And the NLP has a picture of Cuz, Ros and Saps celebrating our first goal against Slough!!! ON THE FRONT PAGE!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Even a report on page 10/11 with big colour picture's of Forbes and that high kick foul on Matty Game. Okay, it was the only "premier" Non League game on Tuesday...but still, put a smile on my face.

 

I know I keep on with this paper but I just like some recognition that we are the best footballing team in this league from a newspaper that is supposed to be the NATIONAL Non League newspaper!!! There are those that will say, they don't want the recognition because of the "under dog" status it affords....I say to them...We're second in the league, how can we be under dogs? Anyway, I'm proud of my team and my club and I think the more exposure, the better.

 

Oh and a point on the front page photo...You can spot a air punching, headless Ryan (obviously after a few too many Stellas) and underneath Cuz's arm pit is a 'Ricay supporter eating, what suspiciously looks like something in french stick, provided of course by The Blues Cafe. There are those that will cut this picture out as a momento. I won't 'cos they provide me with the tasties before the game...Yum, yum!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" />
