Let's hope it goes down the pan. If your not Wimbledon or Carlisle they're not interested. The coverage of the Ryman league is pitiful, and any info you need concerning matches cabn be found on the another site.

Can't really say I'm too bothered. Everything that's in there is on the web somewhere or other anyway, and the match reports for the main part are better on clubs sites that what's featured in the rag.

I am unable to comment upon the NLP's current financial/operational status, however I can confirm that the Editor is one obnoxious and ignorant piece of work !

 

I had cause to correspond with this fellow, back in July of last year - basically asking if they might pop in a tiny mention for the non-league prediction game which I run (allied to anothers non-league websites).

 

I unfortunately made the cardinal error of including a little constructive criticism with my request... and did that little pocket Hitler jump down my throat, jackboots first ?

 

Suffice it to say that I am quite capable of defending myself in such situations and having done nothing wrong, I quickly responded with a carefully crafted and vitriolic summation of my opinion of said respondent - character assassination, perhaps - nevertheless richly deserved... and to date there has been no reply !

 

If the business practices of the NLP organisation are at all mirrored by the unprofessionsl attitude of it's Edotor, then I am frankly unsurprised that they could be suffering financial difficulties.
