Barkingside v Romford

I went along today to see my first Essex Senior League match which Barkingside won 2-0 and fully deserved it. I witnessed the management of Romford blantantly abuse the refree and linesman throughout the game. Was this warranted. The abuse given out by the alledged manager was disgraceful and the supportes were no better.

Was anyone else at this game that would agree or disagree with me.

As the crowd was mabnly Romford supporters and being a neutral I was happy that Barkingside won the match.

I am glad that Romford are not in the Ryman league anymore, as they do not grace it.

I went to todays game and thought that both sides were dire. But, I do not think that Barkingside were any better than the Boro but they did tuck away two goals so we will just have to take it on the chin. Also, I do not agree that there was any bad language coming from the Romford fans although there certainly was from the dugout. I feel that you must have selective hearing as I also heard some very naughty words coming from the home dugout. I see that you didn't say which graceful Ryman team you are from. But I would like to know so that we at Romford could come along and learn some good manners and grace from your goodself. Hip hip hoorah. Keep up that Corinthean spirit ([****!!****]!!) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/spank.gif" alt="" />

Here we go. 1st timer................. Must reply to Ryman and agree we did not witness a good game. However the quality of officials as the Enfield T supporters will agree is dire. This was not a good game, but you must remember all these boys do not get paid, so the management have very little control over their activities at this time of year. However in reply to Ryman as he/she calls themself, you must have very little or no supporters wherever you or whoever you follow. Get it right all supporters are in the same boat and pay their admission and are all alike one way or another. You are somewhat naive and disrespectful with your comments that are totally unwarranted. Romford fans are loyal and passionate as is young Mr Reed. You may have seen him throwing his toys out of the pram but are you in possession of the facts. Listen this is my first post as it is yours. I suggest you crawl back under the stone you emerged from and stay off our site.

Up the boro!

Put your name to the posting, so we can come back to you or send you a Private Message.

Just read Ryman slagging of Romford, which I might say is very brave when you cannot be traced, okay some might know you.

Have an opinion but expect a reply of many.

I for one would point out you got that wrong if you are aiming a general comment.

Yes Ref's and Linesmans get grief but they wont do it if they felt it too personal, pity your comments didnt reflect this. If they were having a good game, most supporters will say so and give credit where due.

Knowing all parties concerned they have hearts of gold, cannot see any postings from Barkingside moaning, sounds like they too were at it.

Ryman, you got that wrong, and I wasnt even there.

It sounds as though "Ryman" has some kind of private axe to grind. Our manager is passionate, but "alleged manager"? Obviously some types of insult are acceptable to the irascible "Ryman"! He or she is glad Romford are not in the Ryman league any more, as "they do not grace it". Well, we can't, can we, if we're not in it!

Good point touch, Our manager is VERY passionate, sounds like Ryman is a one hit wonder, hasnt bothered to defend his comment or opinion.

If he like some others got to know our Manager he would find Reedy a great bloke and family man.

Happy New Year to you
