Sixty clubs from thirteen Step 5 leagues have indicated to the Football Association that, subject to finishing as champions or runners-up of their league and having facilities of the required standard, they wish to be considered for promotion to a Step 4 League for next season.

 

Along with the Albany Northern League, the only other league not providing a potential promotee is the Ridgeons Football League.

 

There are only eight places available for promotion to the Step 4 Leagues, which are the Ryman First Division, the two Southern League First Divisions and the UniBond League First Division.

 

Play-offs will take place at the beginning of May with each league providing one club provided it has one that meets the pre-requisites required to be considered for promotion.

 

Each club has had to pay the Football Association a £150 fee alongside its application.
