Paul Hopkins, joint chairman at Chelmsford City, announced at the CCFC Race Night last evening that building work on the new ground at Melbourne Park, Chelmsford would commence on Monday February 14 2005. The project, which includes the erection of an 1,100 all-seater stand and two-story clubhouse incorporating bar, changing rooms and classrooms is expected to be completed in time for the start of the 2005/06 season.

Haven't had time, you know I can't spend all my time over here entertaining you lot.

This is quite a sad day actually with 'ricky losing all that cash every season, still I'm guessing it doesn't cost much to run a team in a regional league like yours.
