WILLENHALL TOWN 3 vs BIDDULPH VICTORIA 0

Willenhall continued their unbeaten run against a team yet to win an MFA game this season.

It took Bullimore just 3 minutes to collect his 4th goal in 3 games when he intercepted a weak back pass and slotted home past keeper Taylor.

Just 4 minutes later and the Reds were two up when Swann blasted the ball from 30 yards out, his effort swerved inside the post beating the diving keeper.

With the Reds in top gear it seemed a goal avancle would occur. On 24 minutes following some intense pressure the Vics cleared two chances off their goal line.

Higgins made Vics only chance of the first half when he headed over the bar on 30 minutes.

Willenhall's injury list increased 3 minutes into added time when Slater was carried off the field, following a crunching challenge, surprising no action was taken by the ref on the offending player.

Five minutes into added time and Grosvenor beat 2 Vic's defenders before shooting into the side netting. A minute later and a shot by Mountford was tipped away by Reds keeper Vaughan.

Five minutes into the second half and a Hay cross was put wide by Swann, two minutes later and Swann turned provider when his cross was collected by Hay. The young striker turned and blasted the ball into the net for his 4th of the season, and Willenhall's third of the day.

On 59 minutes a Grovensor cross was hit onto the post by Swann, and on 85 Grosvenor shot wide.

Sub Quilt saw his 88th minute 30 yard shot go over the Vic's bar, and on 89 minutes a curling Hay shot was brilliantly saved one handed by Taylor. From the resulting corner by Goodall, Quilt headed the ball narrowly wide.

On 90 minutes a low effort by Hemmings brought out a spectacular diving save by Vaughan.

Willenhall face their toughest test so far when last season's champions and favourites to re gain the crown, Stourbridge visit Noose Lane on Tuesday, 7.45. Biddulph entertain MFA new boys Grosvenor Park on Tuesday.
