Transfer window

Looks like it will be confirmed at tomorrow's Conference AGM that the Conference National will be subject next season to the same transfer window guidelines as those currently used in the Premiership and Football League.

Oh dear - no more hastily arranged loan deals from QPR then. It'll be interesting to see how clubs with smaller squads (i.e. 20 players or fewer - so potentially including us) cope with this.

This is insane, we should get a petition going!

 

How can a buch of old farts from Zurich make up their minds whether or not Gravesend sign a defender just because they have two out injured and one suspended (just an example). Are the Conference being forced to step in line or is it their own decision.

 

The story states that we may still be able to loan players outside of the window but still this is obviously not the same as having a full field of crops to choose from.

 

Its the same as Brussles deciding whether Mr Greengrocer weighs his stock in Pounds or Kilos.
