AFC Hornchurch are pleased to announce that at two important AGM's tonight, the club was elected to both the Essex Senior League and The Capital League for season 2005/06.

 

I do hope that as many of you as possible will support the club at as many fixtures, both home and away as you can.

 

Both Leagues will be tremendous fun. And if the bar prices tonight at Brentwood Town are anything to go by, you will all have a very happy season of supporting AFCH and drinking ahead of you <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

seems as though our two representatives at the Capital League AGM tonight did a sterling job....not an easy application that one..................... so well done Terry and Barry for flying the colours and getting us into that important league....our young'uns will leap forward as a result of that tonight...

 

take a bow boys....you deserve it....

yeah, i know Pat from my SOUTHEND UTD days and you are lucky to have some of this talented boys at your club. good you keept your capital league place,that will help them and will keep away the daggers vultures <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Now I'm terribly confused Unc (not difficult for me considering my age and infirmity) about the venue for the ESL drink up.

Coup was talking about Burnham on the 25th but it seems that the venue has been altered to The Bridge.

Is this so and have any alternative dates/times been suggested so that I can diarise some provisional leave of absence?

well our race night kiboshed us lot from the burnham beano so we decided to host an ESL drink up at the imperial bridge saloon where the much heralded urchinettes shall be modelling their new attire for the forthcoming season...thursdays is the overwhelming night chosen and we are awaiting coups telegram as to his availability...

 

apparently his home rehabilitation leave only extends to certain thursdays... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

 

on a serious note we thought it would be a good idea for us all to get together and have a larf and a chat about next year...sort of get the old adrenalin going and cross ref ideas on generating bigger crowds and generally take the pi*s out of each other....hot buffet provided by us lot...drinks paid for by zeppers... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

1st available date given us by his imperial highness the Rgt Hon cwc.com and we're orf and running... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

all welcome...
