Yeah. Well, at least she claims to. I don't think she understands much about it, but when I first met her she said it was her favourite sport.

 

She keeps on at me to take her to Lords for a Middlesex 55-over knock-about.

Cool, I've just been chatting with Jimmy, and not sure if you are interested in this or not. I guess it depends if you and Emma are happy to leave Dylan overnight really.

 

Basically through one of his magazine contacts at work, he's been given 6 tickets for a box (He's obviously taking Jo, but is after two other couple's to make up the numbers) at Edgbaston for the Saturday (6th August)of the Ashes test. It's a bit of a corporate thing, with his contacts taking their partners. He reckons it'll be free food and drink all day so should be good.

In the evening there is a function at the Thistle Hotel in Birmingham city centre, and we can get preferential rates on rooms there, so we'll stay overnight and return the next afternoon.

 

Can you have a word with Mrs Z and see what she reckons as he needs to know asap. as he'll ask Mark if you can't make it.

Yeah, Dylan's stayed round his Grandad's before, so that would be no problem.
