Got beaten 2-1 by a good defensive side. Dodgy tackles were flying in from everywhere. I think Dave needs to speak to some of our players about their temperament. Nice Little ground. Strange club house. Coffee was nasty. £4 to get in usually £5. No programme usually £1 for 50 pages. A Scottish Andover Official was very helpful to us whilst we were there. There was no shop. Warner & Bicknell stood out in the game. Goals by Andover :Banks 32 min (Pen) & Swayne 54 mins slotted past keeper. Windsor Peter Holsgrove 80 min half volley over keeper.

as the Scottish official I want to thank you for your kind comments. However, I have to say the best compliment you gave us was to say we are good defensively. Matt Bicknell must have been shocked by how good we were compared to when he played us last season - We certainly were!!!

 

You may be interested to know that the ref was trying not to book anyone as it was only a friendly. Unfotunately, some of the players took advantage. I know you are concerned by some of your team's temprament. I won't comment as it took two teams to spoil the last 5 minutes.

I forgot to say that it was good to see 3 of our league winning team (Drake, Bicknell, Walsh) back at the Portway.

Result was fairly irrelevant, we could have scored 6. Thought Paul Coyne was excellent, and Craig Lewington too.

Certainly not the friendliest friendly I've ever seen !!
