After reading the comments and hearing about the mtach, it sounded like we took a battering against the 'mighty heybridge'(amazed they found a supporter to put a message on here). Anyway thats over now, we are out of the trophy, lets move on.

 

Sounds like our injury list is getting longer, perhaps it is a chance to give some of our under-18s a place on the bench. Before everyone shouts me down, about them being too young, i think it would be useful to give them some 1st team squad experience. We need a bigger squad, we haven't a huge budget, so therefore we are going to have to look at what resources we currently have.

 

Their record speaks for themselves and if any perform in the way Simmo and Tommy Poole, then i think they would be worth a try.

Our U18s won again this weekend, as you are well aware of GB, and yes a couple of them are beginning to impress, and an interest is being taken.

 

To have any chance of a career in football, it's a performance on the green stuff that’s important. Key board skills are not so important..

 

If any of our current lads can match the ability, attitude and dedication which has been demonstrated by John and Tom, then I’m sure they will get a chance..

 

Hard work and a good attitude is key, ability alone will never be enough.
