In short Warren Ryan sent off for an elbow early on, 0-0 half time. Leon Hunter pen put us 1-0 up, Millard flapped at a corner 1-1. Wiles sent off for Heybridge for an elbow. Last minute Heybridge winner after a poor mix up between Pat and Macca.

Heybridge were a bunch of dirty cheats and ref and officials were the worst I've ever seen.

Ah - so Heybridge are a bunch of cheats, and the officials in charge of the game were the worst you've ever seen.

But you know what guys....I believe you. And here's the good news - neither yourselves or the Clarets need to play them again this season.

Obviously a crushing defeat for us but a few things are clear

 

Our boys once again put in a magnificent effort and it was impossible to criticise those on the pitch at the end of the game.

 

We have conceded late on in our last two home games and again it s probably down to a little bit of a lack of concentration when it matters. Pat and Macca are both good quality players at this level but again that little bit of experience when it matters is missing.

 

Warren Ryan is a liability. He has a five game ban now. He should not be here next week.

 

The referee was not of the required standard at this level, I would have said that win,lose or draw. Leon Hunter was magnificent.

 

 

We are capable of beating worthing next week, we are gonna be taking a few down there, so let's hope it's a good day out.

A message to the chelmo fans... The ref was so bad that we were questioning decisions he was giving to us that were just nonsense. We Were getting away with as many late challeneges in the air as they were. We were robbed, and over the past 3 weeks we've lost 5 points, More than capable of beating the last 3 teams we've played.

 

Positives out of today were Jo flack looking dangerous, Hunter was absolutly brilliant and i dont think he made one bad pass all game? Dormer was excellent, macca was also superb ((minus the mix up))

 

And another message to chelmo fans....F off and dont give us grieve when you boys lost 3-0.

also i blame the ryman awards. we got performance of the month, and Millard/billericay got the safe hands award, and then look what happens! they're cursed!

You can't blame the ref for the result though... he got both sendings off spot on - and we gave away 2 goals that we should have dealt better with.

 

Warren Ryan. If he starts against Worthing he will have played 12 games for us.... and been suspended for 9.

Errrr......we HAVE F***** off Tom - and WHO's giving you grief?

No good wallowing in self pity though. Yes, we were beaten 3-0 yesterday - totally outplayed by a better team. But that would be a new experience for Ricay wouldn't it - backtracking through this forum it would appear that has NEVER happened to your lads this season.

The effort given by the lads in the game was brilliant, but the fact is we did give away two poor goals.

 

Looks like we are probably going to need 10 wins out of 13 to make the playoffs with some difficult games still left.

 

Agree with JL that Warren Ryan is a liability and IMHO he has let the club and the fans down again. He should have really learnt after last time.

In my opinion it was the correct decision to send Warren Ryan off as it was a def elbow and in my opinion he should now be off from the football club. He has bags of ability but is always far to aggressive and has become a liability how many bookings and sendings off has he had now in his short stay at new lodge? I think he probably cost us the points in the end yesterday as we were left to play with 10 men for too long and looked tired. He let the manager the players and the fans down. Maybe we would of kept hold of Ross if Ryan had left a bit earlier!
