This Sunday at New Lodge

 

Format is No Limit Hold'em, with re-buys for the first hour.

 

£10 + £5 for registration and buffet

 

Doors open 12 noon for registration. Tourney kicks off at 1pm. Everyone welcome

tc, if you don't mind me asking, are these type of events a success at New Lodge? or is this a first time try?

Depends how you view it really, I came third in the last, one so for me it was a success <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Seriously though; this is the second one, last time we had about 45, we expect about 70 this time.

It will run till 10 pm at least, and it's a Sunday afternoon/Evening which is usually slow.

Our bar remains open for the youth and Ladies football, so it works for us. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

tc, we too are looking at ways to keep the bar takings ticking over on a Sunday.

Back to more serious content, do you do hot food and/or meals on a Sunday? We're looking into the concept of Sunday lunch to tempt the punters in.
