Now why did I suspect that you guys would spend all day discussing the Clarets disgustingly low crowd last night. Admittedly, it is cause for minor concern, the attendance having now fallen to the same level as your goodselves, but it will pick up. WILL YOURS?

Oh - and before you say it, I realise that Billericay with it's population of 40,000 should expect lower attendances than Chelmsford with it's 27,000,000 inhabitants.

Well BC, we're discussing football, and attendances which is a much higher subject than, lets say...my body weight a la recent posts I've read on your forum from Mixture and Toffee (damn, got that in the wrong order).

 

As for our attendances, we're up on last seasons without a move to another ground and on the back of a season which see's us not as high up the table as we were last season...so, we're happy 'cos we're growing despite our position in the league.

 

There was always going to be a trimming of your attendaces with the "curiosity" factor wearing off a bit.

 

As for your comment, "Now why did I suspect that you guys would spend all day discussing the Clarets disgustingly low crowd last night", if it wasn't of a concern of yours what we discuss on this forum, why the hell did you respond? Obviously, the attendance was a shock for you as well!!! And a worry. Lets face it, reading some of the comments on the "soapbox" your lot have made concerning the younger newbies that have pitched up at your home games, some have been less than welcoming...thinking about it, the treatment dished out to some of your more established members beggers belief!!!

 

As for Spaceagehero...typical response from a Numpty.

What price are visiting supoporters charged for burgers at Melbourne Park, anyone?

 

Perhaps the good folk of Hendon were concerned that Chelmo would have learned from the "shining example" set by their Essex neighbours on Saturday
