what a day....nearly 200 urchins trawled up in the freezing cold and took their places around the perimeter fence....(the really brave ones stood up high in the stand without a roof <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)

 

awful pitch but well done for the manor boys for getting it ready and off we went only to fall behind to a nathan phillips own goal after 10 minutes....immediately drew level with the third penalty appeal and orf we went in search of the holy grail as the ramblers went 0-3 down to bedsteds....

 

all over and the championship won as we struck twice in the second half and well desreved it was too...the match finished in a blizzard I kid you not....me arthur daly sheepskin is ruined... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

back to urchinville and the warm bar and a good old sing song with fans and players united in a job well done...

 

I shed a tear and so did many...but who could not and who cares....what a year..what a comeback....
