Streakers

[The Hooded Man]

At work we are currently making a documentary all about streakers. This involves collecting lots of footage of streakers from various public events. Just wondered if any of you have seen or recorded a football match where there has been a streaker let loose on the pitch. If so please give details in your reply. Thanks!

i saw 2 streakers at the play off final between watford and Bolton in 1999. one was during the half time and one during the match. 1 male and 1 female.

Thanks for your reply mad, but I was also at the Watford v Bolton game, and it was the first streaker footage I gathered for the documentary. We've even got an interview organized with the female streaker. Thanks anyway mate.

Nice one. There was a streaker at some cricket match at lords, it was a one day match. i think it was the england V zimbabwe. in the triangular tournament final.

I know tis is only a pitch invasion but it was probably one of the best on the pitch comedy moments I have seen. An end of season friendly between Amersham v Watford, well there was a Watford fan who was very worse for wear and decided to run on.

 

Of course at this type of game there are no stewards or police, so this guy then dances up and down the touchline, much in the style of a cheerleader. He then stops because no-one has challenged him, so he takes it a step further, runs on to the pitch and does a professional rugby tackle on the Amersham keeper, then runs off. Fantastic!

I saw you this morning Colin at the station. I shouted your name out several times, so much so I had the attention of half the station. I then realized that you had your Walkman on. What a waist of breath, plus I had the embarrassment of everyone watching me. I styled it out by telling a man next to me, the reason why he didn't respond to me calling was that he still hasn't for given me since I stole his girl friend.

Was it in the ticket office, you know I thought I heard someone shouting my name so I turned my walkman down then it stopped. I had a look around but there were 1000's of people. I then thought it was them voices in my head again.
